Marriott International’s award-winning travel program, Marriott Bonvoy®, together with Bank Mandiri, today unveiled the Marriott Bonvoy® Mandiri Credit Card, designed to give Indonesian customers greater access to global travel rewards through their everyday transactions.

The co-branded card is a landmark launch for both brands: it is Marriott Bonvoy’s first co-branded card in Southeast Asia and Bank Mandiri’s first with a global hospitality group. The partnership combines Bank Mandiri’s nationwide scale and leadership in digital financial services with Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands across over 10,000 destinations worldwide. This collaboration aims to capture Indonesia’s rapidly growing travel segment and provide cardholders with elevated convenience, comfort, and value when exploring destinations at home and abroad.

For Marriott Bonvoy, the partnership reinforces Marriott’s commitment to the Indonesian market and the brand’s focus on bringing members to the places and passions they love. “With more than 86 properties across the archipelago and projections to add another 30 more by 2030, Indonesia is one of our fastest-growing markets in Asia Pacific,” says John Toomey, Chief Commercial Officer, Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC), Marriott International. “The launch of the Marriott Bonvoy® Mandiri Credit Card marks a significant milestone in enriching our engagement with Indonesian travelers, giving them easy access to our properties in Indonesia and beyond through everyday spend. I’m excited for cardholders to unlock the power of Marriott Bonvoy with the co-branded card.

Representing Bank Mandiri, Vice President Director Henry Panjaitan emphasized that this collaboration marks a strategic milestone in strengthening Bank Mandiri’s integrated ecosystem-based financial solutions, while delivering tangible added value for customers by optimizing daily transactions into global travel benefits.

“We welcome this co-branded credit card issuance through a synergistic partnership with Marriott Bonvoy, a global leader in the hospitality industry. This initiative reinforces the integration of Bank Mandiri’s ecosystem and accelerates the delivery of value-added financial solutions that enable customers to maximize their everyday transactions into a wide range of rewards, while supporting more efficient and measured expense management,” said Henry Panjaitan.

Henry Panjaitan added that the collaboration is expected to accelerate the integration of financial services with customers’ lifestyle needs, while enhancing value creation through more efficient reward accumulation, broader access to global benefits, and stronger, more sustainable engagement across Bank Mandiri’s expanding consumer banking ecosystem.

“We’re always looking for meaningful ways to help our members travel better and experience more. Bank Mandiri’s scale and strong reputation makes it the perfect partner to connect us to more deeply with guests in Indonesia, delivering greater value and premium lifestyle solutions to customers,” said Ramesh Jackson, Regional Vice President, Indonesia & Malaysia, Marriott International.

Tailored for customers who aspire to enrich their travel experiences, the Marriott Bonvoy® Mandiri Credit Card offers a suite of premium privileges. Successful applicants will receive 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy welcome bonus points as well as automatic Silver Elite status. Cardholders can also earn a Free Night Award worth up to 20,000 points upon meeting the required spend criteria.

Other card benefits include:

  • Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status upon meeting spend criteria, unlocking attractive benefits such as complimentary room upgrades, late checkouts, and enhanced earning rates
  • Earn up to 5x Marriott Bonvoy points on eligible spend transactions
  • Receive 2,500 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points each month upon meeting minimum spend
  • Unlimited Merchant & Airport Lounge Access across Indonesia
